Snowing????
Here, in SouthTown? (you know, from the year without a Santa Claus) Yes, By George, it did snow here yesterday evening. And as much as I was hoping for white-out conditions this morning..... alas, it was raining. But it was fun while it lasted. The kiddos ran and squealed with delight. It was the first time S. had actually seen snow (that he could remember. The last time he was about 6 or 7 months old). It actually accumulated for a bit then the temp rose and it all but dissapeared. Of course, I have pictures to post of everyone outside looking at it like it was the first time in history that snow had fallen out of the sky!
Yes, those are pliers in S.'s hand.. I don't know why.......
And yes, that is a toy saw in S.'s hand in this shot. He was trying to cut the flakes as they fell. Again, I don't know why.............. (shaking head)
Anyway, a good time was had by all. There seems to be another chance this weekend for some more white stuff. Maybe we will see some more.... Maybe, maybe...........
On another note..... I am just tickled to death that tomorrow is FRIDAY!! Woohoo!! I have a four day weekend.. Go Rox! Go Rox! Go Rox! (picture the cabbage Patch being danced as I sing). Gonna scrapbook. Gonna Scrapbook. Gonna Scrapbook....... (fading in the distance)

isn't it amazing??? we got snow too, and our stuck. i have a feeling if i was awake around 3 a.m. i could've done all the things i went to bed dreaming of - building a snowman, making snow angels, snow cream, and having snowball fights. but, those dreams came to an end when i woke up to an illusion of snow...covered with ice, with sleet and freezing rain coming down the rest of the morning. NOTHING FUN.
