Well... After tonight I can scratch off two items from my bucket Living list..
Matt-Daddy and I will be going to see James Taylor
and Carole King in concert. The Troubadour Reunion Tour 2010.
I have wanted, for as long as I can remember, to see JT.
I think I have every album he has ever released. His cassette tapes went
on vacation with us. They were in my Boom box (yea, I grew up in the 70's and 80's ;)
And I know every word.
His voice is so calming.. The words so pure.
I can't wait.

| ... And Carole King.. I really never thought I would ever see her in concert. She is one of those singers I grew up listening too.. I remember as a child riding with my Mom or one of her good friends, listening to Carole King's Tapestry on the 8-track in the car. I have known all the words for as long as I can remember. It is one of the 8-tracks I kept in my room to listen too.. When it was available on CD.. It was mine asap. One of the greatest albums ever :) |

| ... So tonight, you can bet I will be singing every word to every song. Trying to take in and remember every single strum of his guitar and ping on her piano. I will listen to the stories of a 40 year friendship. And hope that I can see the brilliant blue of his eyes just once.. and breathe. |

I saw JT back in high school or college - can't remember the exact timing. I enjoy his music, but haven't really ever spent much time with Ms King :) I don't listen to JT as much as used to but I have some of his stuff on my iPod and he's good for a mellow mood.
